Business as Usual

There’s a recession in full swing. What does this mean for businesses out there? One of two things: feast or famine. You can never tell which way the fickle winds of commerce will blow, but the bottom line is: as long as you’re in the black and managing to make payroll, you’re doing all right. The one thing you need to keep in the office supply cabinet, along with the ubiquitous roller ball pens and paper clips, is a set of versatile business stamps.

Odd, sure, but a set of business stamps can be customized to fit any occasion. If you run an accounting firm, a nice set of “paid” or “unpaid” or “pending” stamps would come in handy. Just make sure you have enough for every CPA on your payroll. Oh, and you will need a range of colored ink pads to keep up with a typical workday.

What if you don’t run an accounting firm? Name the field and you can find the stamps. Lets say you run a car rental agency or a used car lot — no worries. Invest in a set of stamps that let the billing department that a financing application has been “approved” or a car has just been “sold.” See? For every occasion, there’s a stamp.

As Wall Street tanks, you need to streamline your internal business processes. If you can maximize your employees’ time, you can start taking steps towards more and more efficiency. Part of this maximizing is letting the stamps do the talking. Less time typing and writing — and more time stamping — is more time to get down to business. Every second counts as the count-down to depression ticks down to the wire.

Dour? Perhaps, but the truth is in the details. And so is success. Get people stamping and get them off the keyboards. You need to save where you can and a supply of stamps and ink pads will be more cost-effective in the long run than printer ink and copy toner. The price of business may not be on the increase, but inflation begins to creeps its way into our fiat currency, look out.

Maximize your bottom line with a set of spiffy business stamps. Stop typing and writing and get to stamping.
